Sundried Tomato Grilled Cheese
- 4 slices gluten-free Italian bread
- 8 GO Veggie! Lactose Free Smoked Provolone Slices
- 4 large sundried tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tbsp. dairy-free butter
Sandwich Maker Instructions:
Spread 1/2 tbsp. butter on one side of one slice of Italian bread and place on the bottom of the Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker (butter side down).
Top with 4 GO Veggie! Lactose Free Mozzarella Slices, then sundried tomatoes, sea salt and pepper.
Top with remaining slice of Italian bread and place 1/2 tbsp. butter on top of that slice of Italian bread.
Close the sandwich maker and toast for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
Repeat with remaining two slices of Italian bread. Serve warm.
Stove Top Instructions:
Heat a large skillet on the stovetop over medium-low heat.
Place two slices of the bread on a clean work surface; lay 4 slices of cheese onto each piece of bread.
Then, place sundried tomatoes, sea salt and pepper on top of the cheese and finish by topping with the remaining bread slices.
Using a knife, butter both sides of bread for each sandwich.
Place sandwiches on the warm skillet.
Cook for 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown, flipping with a spatula once.
Remove the sandwiches from heat and serve.
