  • 4 pieces gluten-free Italian bread
  • 8 GO Veggie! Lactose Free Mozzarella Slices
  • 2 tbsp. store-bought pesto
  • 1/4 tsp. finely chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp. dairy free butter
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt


Sandwich Maker Instructions:

Spread 1/2 tbsp. butter on one side of one slice of Italian bread and place on the bottom of the Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker (butter side down).

Top with 4 GO Veggie! Lactose Free Mozzarella Slices, then pesto, basil, sea salt and pepper.

Top with remaining slice of Italian bread and place 1/2 tbsp. butter on top of that slice of Italian bread.

Close the sandwich maker and toast for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.

Repeat with remaining two slices of Italian bread. Serve warm.

Stove Top Instructions:

Heat a large skillet on the stovetop over medium-low heat.

Place two slices of the bread on a clean work surface; place 4 slices of cheese onto each piece of bread.

Then, place 1 tbsp. of pesto on top of the cheese on each slice of bread and divide the fresh basil evenly on top.

Sprinkle each sandwich with sea salt and finish by placing the other two remaining bread slices on top.

Using a knife, butter both sides of each sandwich.

Place sandwiches on the warm skillet.

Cook for 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown, flipping with a spatula once.

Remove the sandwiches from heat and serve.
